INSECT RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT (IRM) STRATEGIES

IRM is mandated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and every person growing corn with Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis) technology (YieldGard^® Corn Borer, YieldGard Corn Borer with Roundup Ready Corn 2^® and YieldGard VT Triple^™) must comply with the IRM requirements. The continued success of the technology depends on IRM to prevent the development of resistant insect populations.
